I have 2 children, William is 14 and just started Central High School, Zoe is 9 and goes to Holston Elementary.
The reason I joined the challenge is to lose weight. 3 years ago I was the perfect weight for my height then I was diagnosed with a hyperthyroid. I went thru 2 years of having my medicine increased every couple of months to slow my thyroid down, and gained weight every month I was on the medicine. My thyroid is pretty much settled now and I want to lose the weight I gained and get back into the routine I had before the medicine took all my energy. My goal is to lose all I can while restarting the routine that had me the perfect weight before the medicine.

this is going to be so easy, there's a tornado in town
hmmm, Bristol is significantly below Tennessee state average for tornados. The last one to hit Bristol was in 1980 and was only a category 3. Which means it didn't destroy a whole lot...I'm not worried. Tornados don't survive this mountainous area very well.
